A Jitterbit Case Study
Dot Foods, the largest food-service redistributor in the U.S. (112,000 products, $6.2B revenue), faced major data silos from decades-old IBM/AS400 systems. Accounts, locations, contacts, customer communications and sales history were duplicated and fragmented, causing unstable infrastructure, slow and error-prone reporting, and labor-intensive manual processes.
Dot implemented Jitterbit Harmony as an enterprise integration platform to orchestrate Salesforce, DB2, SQL and real-time APIs, enabling single-entry data, automated workflows and bulk data movement. The migration allowed AS/400 applications to be phased out without disruption and delivered better data quality, lower costs, higher uptime, and greater flexibility, scalability, visibility and supportability.
