A Jitterbit Case Study
ASCO’s CancerLinQ® aggregates vast amounts of real-world clinical cancer data into a searchable database to support personalized oncology care. It faced major interoperability challenges: participating practices use different EHRs and practice management systems and document both structured and unstructured data in many formats, all while requiring strict HIPAA protection and minimal IT involvement from member sites.
Jitterbit’s Healthcare Interoperability Platform solved this by deploying lightweight, behind‑the‑firewall agents that securely ingest, encrypt, normalize and transform disparate data into a single common format and enable remote management with minimal practice IT effort. The result: thousands of oncology cases from diverse systems are now connected, member onboarding and data processing have accelerated, and clinicians gain timely, contextualized treatment outcomes to inform better real‑time decisions and improve patient care.
