A Jitterbit Case Study
BAUME, a Geneva-based Richemont house launched in 2018, set out to sell fully customizable, sustainable luxury watches direct-to-consumer. The brand needed a precision configurator (3,132 possible watch combinations) and real-time order personalization while integrating disparate cloud and on-prem systems — Salesforce, SAP, Moduslink and custom engraving machines — on a tight timeline and with limited resources for a high-profile pilot that could be scaled across Richemont.
Richemont’s Aykut Tunca chose Jitterbit as the middleware to stitch systems together, minimizing custom code and using out-of-the-box connectors. Jitterbit was implemented in two months, delivering a 100% real-time information flow and enabling BAUME to go from concept to commerce in nine months, launch in 83 countries, expand integrations (e.g., EasyPost), and realize measurable commercial benefits while positioning the program for replication across the group.
