Digital Document Solutions, Sharp’s #1 Print Dealer with offices in Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong, had outgrown its existing systems and needed a way to streamline managed print services, meter-reading collection, service dispatch and document management. They adopted the Jim2 Business Engine and Jim2 Mobile (implemented in 2011) to replace manual processes and support growth across branches.

Jim2 was configured with integrations (Print Audit, supplier stock feeds and eBusiness Connect), EDMS/workflow automation, custom reporting and the Jim2 Mobile app for technicians. The result: 40–50 hours saved per month on manual meter-reading collection (about 1,800 of ~3,000 device reads automated), a full day’s processing saved via automated billing reports, faster consumable ordering and delivery, improved service allocation for 18 technicians across four branches, and a move toward an almost paper‑free operation — all delivered through Jim2.
