Dexcom, a leader in continuous glucose monitoring, faced fragmented software delivery as distributed development teams used multiple single-node Artifactory instances and Google Container Registry, making collaboration, standardization, and maintenance difficult. The platform team wanted a self-managed, cloud-native solution on Google Cloud Platform that could support 24/7 global use with minimal downtime and cross-region synchronization for disaster recovery.

Dexcom deployed JFrog Artifactory in high-availability mode on GCP with NetApp Cloud Volumes for shared NFS storage, added JFrog Xray for universal SCA vulnerability scanning, and enabled cross-region replication. The result was a centralized, highly available artifact platform that supports all package types, integrates preferred storage, provides redundancy and disaster recovery, and delivers seamless, zero-downtime maintenance for global teams.
