How JFrog Helped Speed Monster to Cloud Native Transformation

Monster is a global leader in connecting people and jobs with a 25‑year history of transforming recruiting. After two decades of market leadership its core stack had become monolithic and brittle: legacy applications, unclear dependency visibility, ad‑hoc versioning and artifact buckets, and release cycles measured in months (up to 15) were slowing innovation. Leadership decided a major reinvention to cloud‑native, containerized microservices on Kubernetes was required.

Monster implemented JFrog Artifactory and Xray running on AWS EKS alongside Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker and Helm to create centralized, polyglot repositories (Maven, npm, PyPI, Docker, etc.), regional caches and governed access. Xray provides vulnerability scanning and traceability to block risky builds before production. The self‑managed, highly available platform now supports roughly 90 developers across 15 distributed teams, enables continuous delivery to Kubernetes, and greatly improved release velocity, scalability and security.
