Princeton Theological Seminary faced a paper-based registration process that forced students to wait in line twice and a campus plagued by duplicative, siloed data that hindered institution-wide reporting and collaboration. To modernize services and create web-based administrative and academic access, the Seminary selected Jenzabar, upgrading its ERP to Jenzabar EX on Microsoft SQL Server and adopting Jenzabar’s Internet Campus Solution (JICS).
Jenzabar implemented an integrated solution—Jenzabar EX, JICS, integration with Jenzabar e‑Learning, and Jenzabar Analytics—providing a common database, 24x7 self-service access for students, faculty and alumni, and tailored modules for admissions, registration, budgeting, and financial aid. The deployment eliminated data silos, reduced registration bottlenecks, streamlined operations, and delivered improved reporting and decision-making—bringing Princeton Theological Seminary, as IT VP Adrian Backus put it, “one giant step forward” with Jenzabar.
