Crown College Conducts Its COVID Response With Jenzabar Retention

Crown College, a private Christian college in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota with just under 1,200 students, needed a way to manage COVID-19 on campus by centralizing reporting and response, communicating quickly with impacted faculty and students, and supporting students in isolation. To meet those challenges the college turned to Jenzabar and reconfigured the Jenzabar Retention platform to handle its COVID workflows.

Using Jenzabar Retention, Crown created an early-alert system on the faculty portal so professors could immediately notify the student development team, who could then look up roommates/close contacts, facilitate testing, and send one-touch notifications to affected students and instructors. Jenzabar’s FERPA-compliant solution enabled faster, coordinated responses, kept the campus open, maintained course engagement for quarantined students, and improved communication so faculty and students stayed informed.
