Case Study: Alfa Laval achieves flexible, upgradeable ERP manufacturing control with Jeeves ERP

A Jeeves ERP Case Study

Preview of the Alfa Laval Case Study

Jeeves ERP One of Alfa Laval’s global systems

Alfa Laval, a global industrial company, selected Jeeves ERP as its dominant production system to handle its purchasing, logistics, and manufacturing operations across its international divisions. The challenge was finding a system that could serve as a global backbone while still allowing for necessary customizations to meet unique operational needs without complicating future upgrades.

The solution from Jeeves ERP was its database-centric architecture, which uses separate databases for its standard system and for customer-specific modifications. This allowed Alfa Laval to easily develop and port its own customizations, such as a unique warehouse picking application for computer-controlled trucks, during upgrades. As a result, Alfa Laval maintains a modern system with 1,400 users across 28 installations on three continents, achieving firm control over its manufacturing processes and the flexibility to adapt the ERP to its specific requirements.
