Clariant, a global leader in specialty chemicals with about 18,000 employees and more than 100 group companies worldwide, needed to shift corporate budget planning from a bottom-up to a top-down, target-setting approach. The firm required a web-based intranet solution that integrated with its SAP landscape, supported Excel workflows, scaled across five continents, and could be developed and rolled out quickly and cost-effectively.
