Tryg - Customer Case Study

Tryg is one of the largest non-life insurance companies in the Nordics, serving 2.55 million private customers and 140,000 companies across Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Finance teams struggled with complex, Excel/Access-based budgeting and forecasting—manual consolidation took more than six weeks, produced inconsistent reports, high error risk and poor version/audit control, making it hard to anticipate and plan for varied insurance scenarios.

In 2016 Tryg, together with partner Qbit, migrated to the Jedox enterprise planning platform, replacing spreadsheet models with an integrated database. The new solution delivers automated data integration and validation, rolling and time-independent forecasts, real-time consolidation and driver-based KPIs—improving reporting efficiency, transparency and alignment between management reporting and strategic decision-making.
