Swiss‑Ski, the Swiss umbrella organisation for snow sports with 12 regional associations, 770 clubs and about 100,000 members, struggled with slow, error‑prone budgeting and reporting done in scattered Excel files. Coordination between headquarters, regional associations and coaches was difficult, visibility into current and historical financials was limited, and the budgeting process lacked transparency and flexibility.

Working with Axept and Informatec, Swiss‑Ski integrated ABACUS with AXview and Jedox to create a central planning and reporting solution. The system delivers real‑time year‑to‑date figures, approval workflows, what‑if scenarios and secure cost‑centre access, enabling faster, more accurate forecasts and streamlined budget imports into ABACUS—today about 25 users benefit from improved efficiency, transparency and control.
