The Finnish Red Cross reduces its budgeting and planning process by half

The Finnish Red Cross, one of Finland’s largest voluntary humanitarian organizations with some 500 local branches and 12 district offices, struggled with a cumbersome, error‑prone Excel-based budgeting and forecasting process. Managing hundreds of separate budgets and diverse donor reporting formats left the finance team spending excessive time on data aggregation and maintenance rather than strategic work.
