South Hereford Garages, established in 1973, is a leading UK Volkswagen retailer focused on high-quality service across sales, service, parts and body repairs. Finance Director Ian Phillips struggled with complex spreadsheets that could not deliver departmental analysis or manufacturer composite reporting; they needed to integrate budget and actuals, produce a consolidated P&L for multiple departments and two dealership locations, and simplify a burdensome weekly sales forecast.

They implemented Jedox Premium, using multi-dimensional “cubes” with a separate cube per department fed from the Kalamazoo DMS, which automatically updates and aggregates into a consolidated P&L. Weekly forecasts are completed via standardized spreadsheet templates and uploaded to Jedox, reducing spreadsheet management, enabling easy slicing and dicing by cost centre, and streamlining reporting and forecasting across the business.
