A Jedox Case Study
Ruah Community Services is a Western Australia non-profit with over 250 staff delivering diverse programs across multiple locations. Facing complex NDIS cost calculations and a workforce of shift and salaried employees, their Excel-based budgeting was time-consuming, error-prone and lacked central control, daily shift loading calculations, secure workflows and accurate visibility for managers and finance.
Implemented by Jedox partner bi5 Solutions, a Jedox-based shift and pay calculator plus a three-stage approval workflow and Chris21 integration now calculate employee-level costs by day, link directly to cost-center P&L, and feed reporting in PowerBI. The result is decentralised budgeting with stronger control and visibility, significantly reduced administration time, more accurate forecasts and faster what-if/reforecasting — with plans to extend the model into a tender calculator.
