A Jedox Case Study
Royal Nooteboom Group, the Dutch market leader in vehicles for abnormal road transport, needed to replace an error-prone, Excel‑based reporting process that lacked consistency, web and mobile access. IT manager Albert de Boer sought a low‑cost, scalable, web‑based and locally supported BI tool to give the business better insight and faster, more reliable reporting.
They implemented the Jedox Suite with Celcus support, using Jedox ETL to pull data from their Progress/ERP system into a SQL staging area and delivering integrated reporting, planning and KPI dashboards (sales, pipeline, purchasing, production, services, trailer revisions) across Excel, web and iPad with batch PDF distribution. The solution reached about 30 users, improved data consistency and availability, cut manual effort (about one FTE saved), cost less than €25k up front with €3–5k annual costs, and achieved quick ROI and high user acceptance.
