Nnit Modernizes Financial Planning on Time and in Budget With Jedox

NNIT, a Danish IT services company with about 2,800 employees and a global footprint, needed a replacement for its complex Excel-based financial planning after a 2017 change in steering model. The legacy tool — supporting over 200 users and relying on 28 stored procedures — could not handle the new customer/service allocation requirements and suffered performance and stability issues.

After market screening and hands-on testing of Jedox, NNIT built a proof of concept and deployed Jedox (Microsoft SQL Server environment), rolling out 200 users on time and on budget and adding 100 more in 2018. The new solution simplified and stabilized planning, removed performance bottlenecks, enabled driver-based inputs and near-real-time aggregation for 300+ users across multiple countries, and achieved high user satisfaction with potential to expand beyond finance.
