A Jedox Case Study
Lakehouse is an award‑winning property and energy services provider founded in 1988 that employs over 1,200 people and operates across construction, maintenance, retrofit and energy services for social housing, education and public buildings. Rapid growth through four acquisitions created a complex group structure and exposed limitations in Lakehouse’s Excel‑based budgeting and forecasting processes — linked spreadsheets, extensive emailing, cutting and pasting and repeated rechecks made forecasting slow, error‑prone and unable to keep pace with the business.
Lakehouse implemented the Jedox Suite as a common planning and reporting platform, giving the group a single source of truth and enabling multiple users to work on the same budgets and forecasts. The new solution formalised budgeting rules, reduced manual effort and cycle time, and quickly became a mission‑critical tool across Finance and Commercial Management, freeing the business to explore further Jedox use cases.
