Jedox frees NHBC Finance team to focus on Business Partnering

NHBC, the UK’s leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes (insuring over 1.5 million homes), was hampered by an overly complex, spreadsheet-driven FP&A process across two subsidiaries, three directorates, seven divisions, 40 departments and 150+ cost centres. Consolidation from their ERP into Excel was slow and fragile, reporting and macro-based analysis took too long, and the Finance team had little time for strategic business partnering.

NHBC implemented Jedox EPM to centralise data and automate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, with around 90 users (including 75 budget-holders). The result: quarterly planning cycles, budgets that once took a week can now be produced in a day, automated reports available each morning, and stakeholder meeting prep cut from an hour to 15 minutes—freeing Finance to focus on insight and a planned five-year rolling forecast.
