Case Study: Alexander Bürkle achieves real-time visibility and decentralized web reporting with Jedox

A Jedox Case Study

Preview of the Alexander Bürkle Case Study

Jedox Brings Real-Time Visibility to Management

Alexander Bürkle is a German electrical wholesaler with 20 subsidiaries, over 700 employees and annual sales above €275M. After two acquisitions and a reorganization into four divisions they faced a complex new cost and performance accounting landscape — roughly 900 cost centers, 700 cost types and ten allocation methodologies — while their legacy ERP/Excel reporting was slow, manual and unable to deliver timely, transparent KPIs for management and the board.

They implemented Jedox for decentralized web reporting and planning, automating ERP connectivity and enabling drill-through to transactional detail. Within weeks Controlling had migrated Excel reports, built a planning model processing over 9 million records for 120 users, and now delivers daily dynamic KPIs, faster month‑end and planning cycles, self-service dashboards, and independent subsidiary planning with lower IT and consulting burden.
