BSA Limited, a leading Australian provider of HVAC, fire systems and broadcast installation services with more than AU$480m turnover and 1,000+ employees, struggled with long contract lifecycles (up to 2.5 years) and a time‑consuming forecasting process that required consolidating 100+ spreadsheets from ten locations. The finance team, led by CFO Karl Nixon, needed accurate, group‑wide cash‑flow forecasts and better project budgeting without diverting time from core business drivers.
Working with Jedox and implementation partner Managility, BSA deployed a web‑based Jedox solution integrated with the Pronto ERP via ETL, using an Excel‑friendly front end, central database and OLAP write‑back. Implemented in 45 days and rolled out to 60 users across ten sites, the system eliminated spreadsheet consolidation, delivered real‑time planned vs. actual figures, and cut forecasting time to as little as 24 hours—improving accuracy, analysis time and working‑capital management.
