International Group Reporting With Jedox

Dürr Group, a global supplier to the automotive industry with ~8,000 employees in 21 countries and €2.4bn in 2013 sales, needed to automate and standardize complex monthly reporting and profit-center planning across 120 linked businesses while migrating to IFRS and consolidating heterogeneous data from SAP, Oracle, Cubeware and Excel. The challenge was to produce timely, detailed P&L and forecast figures (25,000 key metrics) at profit-center and group levels without heavy manual effort.

Corporate Control built a unified solution using Jedox OLAP Server, Hyperion Financial Management and Cubeware Importer with Excel as the front end, automating data flows and creating separate cubes for actuals and planning. Implemented in three months without outside support, the system compiles consolidated figures at the touch of a button (about seven minutes) and cut monthly reporting from four days to roughly two hours, while reducing planning cycles from weeks to days and saving significant resources.
