Nulsen Group is a Western Australian disability service provider with over 700 staff supporting around 200 clients across dozens of homes. Faced with complex, frequently changing roster requirements and an Excel-based budgeting process, finance and operations teams spent excessive time manually calculating roster costs, allocations and forecasts—leaving them prone to error and without timely insight into staffing coverage.
Working with Jedox partner bi5 Solutions, Nulsen implemented a flexible Jedox model that added house-level detail, one‑click data imports, scenario/versioning and automated roster-to-requirement calculations. The result: faster, more accurate roster costing and forecasting, fewer spreadsheets and manual steps, improved day-to-day decision-making and more staff time focused on client care, with room to expand the model as needs evolve.
