Heiniger AG, a Swiss family-owned manufacturer of animal and pet shearing clippers with subsidiaries in Australia/New Zealand and partners in over 50 countries, faced growing analysis needs after migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX to abas ERP. They needed a flexible, user-friendly reporting and planning solution that integrated with existing systems, and selected a combined Jedox and Qlik approach for its ease of use, integration capabilities and adaptability.

Using Jedox alongside Qlik, implemented in eight weeks with partner Informatec, Heiniger created an integrated planning and analytics platform that supports self-service analysis, mobile sales access, write-back to the ERP, scenario and predictive planning. The result: faster, more transparent sales and purchasing analysis, planning returned to the sales floor, measurable improvement in sales planning and about two hours saved per week on analysis.
