A Jedox Case Study
Fujitsu, a global technology company with about $40 billion in revenue and 170,000 employees, struggled with slow, error-prone financial planning: SAP BW actuals were exported into massive Excel sheets, budgets and forecasts weren’t linked, and bottom‑up planning relied on manual cut‑and‑paste and ad‑hoc queries that hindered timely decision‑making.
Fujitsu piloted Jedox with a rapid prototype that modelled data in multidimensional cubes using an Excel‑like interface, enabling instant consolidations, scenario and what‑if planning, and interactive dashboards. By centralizing plans and actuals and empowering business users to self‑service reports and drill into product and channel performance, Jedox reduced manual errors and cycle times, improved forecasting and insight, and led to a broader rollout across the organization.
