FERCAM, a major Italian logistics and transportation provider, needed to modernize a complex budgeting and forecasting process across numerous sales hierarchies under a tight timeframe. The existing Excel-based, fragmented approach made consolidation slow and hard to control, so the Controlling department sought a faster, more transparent solution.

Hi‑Bi implemented Jedox, integrating data from Oracle DWH and Qlik and deploying a web-based in‑memory database and entry/reporting front-end that went live in one month. The new solution eliminated Excel versioning, enabled target scenarios, process monitoring and combined bottom‑up entry with top‑down adjustments, saving time, improving control and forecasting accuracy, and paving the way to extend Jedox to more users and divisions.
