C&A completes planning cycle in a third of the time

C&A Central & Eastern Europe, a major fashion retailer with 400 stores and complex supply, product and staffing structures, faced slow, error-prone planning driven by spreadsheets. Challenges included consolidating individual store plans, gathering data from many sources, building multiple scenarios and coping with time-consuming last-minute adjustments.

Working with partner Vector, C&A implemented a Jedox driver-based cost-planning and variance-analysis solution with an Excel-like, self-service interface. The system models property and personnel costs across stores, supports multi-year and scenario planning, and enables rolling forecasts. Results include a planning cycle that now runs in one-third of the time, much higher data quality, faster consolidation, and greater independence for controllers.
