Fanhai International School of Finance (FISF) at Fudan University is a Shanghai-based business school focused on finance education and research. Facing a planning challenge unique to higher education — where enrollment and teaching, not inventory or invoicing, drive revenue — FISF found Excel-based budgeting cumbersome and needed a flexible, cross-departmental FP&A tool to align business planning with finance and support collaborative forecasting and reporting.

FISF chose Jedox (with partner EFS Shanghai Xiangteng) to provide an integrated, user-friendly planning platform that links Weaver OA and Infor Sunsystems, supports income forecasts by enrollment and scholarships, and maps complex relationships across BUs, projects and cost centers. The implementation delivered simplified budgeting, seamless data integration and a two- to three-fold increase in budget preparation efficiency, while enabling real-time, customizable reporting and future web- and BI-driven enhancements for more accurate, scalable financial management.
