Bilfinger HSG International Facility Management, part of Bilfinger SE and a global leader in integrated facility management, manages reporting for 31 companies in 26 countries using 13 currencies. Management accounting was producing up to five Excel reports per company each month—about 1,300 Excel files a year—which became error-prone, time-consuming and lacked a central database.
The team implemented a Jedox-based web reporting platform with ETL integration to source data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP and other systems; accounting now maintains and extends the solution in-house. Automated currency conversion, standardized P&L structures and one-click XML exports to SAP cut manual work dramatically, give 75 decision-makers on-demand, drillable group and country reports, and reduced tasks that once took a day to seconds.
