BERNEXPO Groupe, a Swiss trade‑fair and event organiser with about 140 employees and nearly one million visitors a year, needed a scalable FP&A and reporting platform to consolidate financials across companies and events, cut time‑consuming manual data preparation, and give decentralized budget managers real‑time access to event‑aware revenue and cost figures.
They implemented the Simple.Planner Suite, integrating Jedox for planning, Qlik Sense for analysis/visualization and Abacus as the operational source, with automated, validated data flows and self‑service planning masks. The result: automated consolidation and event‑based recognition, faster access to high‑quality data, at least 25 days saved per year in controlling, reduced manual work for cost/project owners, and clearer budget visibility — with further extensions planned.
