Apex Hotels is a UK independent operator of ten four‑star city‑centre hotels (headquartered in Edinburgh) with over 1,100 employees and annual revenues above £75m. Facing fierce competition, pricing and marketing pressures, and growing volumes of operational data as it pursues digital transformation and portfolio growth, the company needed a more efficient, reliable budgeting, planning and forecasting process to support decision‑making across the business.

The solution removed manual spreadsheet work, halved the time spent on routine FP&A tasks (a 50% efficiency gain), improved reporting accuracy and business engagement, and is now being extended with Jedox Assisted Planning to refine room, F&B and events forecasting.
