A Jedox Case Study
BAM Woningbouw, the Netherlands’ market leader in residential construction and part of Royal BAM Group, operates nine branches with about 1,500 staff and manages roughly 250 projects and €550–750M in yearly revenue. The finance team faced an overstretched, Excel-heavy reporting landscape: a costly data-warehouse/BI effort had failed to eliminate spreadsheet dependence, leaving high IT workload, long programming runtimes, poor performance, low flexibility and insufficient scenario capabilities.
BAM replaced that stack with a Jedox/Celcus BI‑CPM platform—an integrated, web-based solution for project portfolio management, rolling forecasts, balanced scorecards and financial consolidation—initially rolled out to 60 users for under €30K in software fees. The result: faster, automated reporting with linked dashboards and Office integration, improved data consistency and auditability, fewer mistakes and dependencies, more control and clear ROI, plus the ability to produce timely P&L and balance-sheet forecasts across the organization.
