The State of Arizona, serving millions of residents across more than 100 agencies, needed to replace a costly end-of-life payment system that functioned as a “black box.” The state wanted full control over its billing code, seamless support for about 30 agency payment applications, automation for complex reconciliation and revenue-splitting processes, and a more secure way to handle PCI-compliant credit card and ACH payments. jBilling was selected to provide the billing platform and cloud service.

jBilling implemented a flexible, open solution using its API, translation layers, configurable options, and custom logic to integrate with the state’s existing applications without major rewrites. With jBilling’s cloud service, the State of Arizona gained ongoing PCI compliance, automated daily reconciliation, real-time transaction visibility, and a scalable platform that is easy to modify. The results included more than $1M in annual recurring cost savings and support for over $750M in annual credit card and ACH purchases.
