KTA-Tator, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based coatings and corrosion engineering firm founded in 1949 that works extensively with government contractors, struggled with an inbox-based recruiting process that left emails undelivered, resumes piled up, and candidate communication slow. After nearly 20 years at the company, VP of Human Resources Wendy Dameron moved to modernize hiring to eliminate those bottlenecks.

She implemented JazzHR after seeing it at a conference; its job posting, ATS, interviews/assessments, reporting and eSignature features streamlined workflows and provided training resources. The ATS cut candidate response times from days to hours, reduced new hiring-manager training to about five minutes, and helped the team work more efficiently—KTA has been a JazzHR customer since 2011, screening 10,153 resumes and making 300 hires.
