Oberg Industries, a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of precision components and tooling for leading manufacturers and Fortune 500 companies, struggled with a slow, manual recruiting process. With only one recruiter supporting a 750+ person global business, paper applications, Excel-based tracking, and slow resume sharing led to long delays (60–150 days to fill roles) and the loss of strong candidates.
In 2015 Oberg implemented JazzHR, quickly moving to electronic applications, centralized ATS tracking, collaborative tools and training. The change cut time-to-hire in half, enabled screening of 4,022 resumes and 100+ hires, improved candidate communication and onboarding, and gave hiring managers transparent, faster hiring workflows supported by responsive vendor support.
