W.J. Bradley, a rapidly growing independent retail mortgage lender based in Denver, needed timely, actionable performance metrics to support executive decision-making and extend visibility throughout the organization. Data was fragmented across multiple in‑house systems and hosted solutions (including NetSuite), and the company faced a limited BI budget and small reporting staff.

W.J. Bradley implemented an open‑source BI stack—iReport, JasperServer, PostgreSQL and pgAdmin—after Jaspersoft training, building a data mart and publishing operational reports via the company portal. The reports (covering pull‑through, cycle times, sales volumes and headcount trends) enabled better-informed executive decisions, validated the BI approach, and set the stage to add NetSuite accounting and role‑filtered P&L views as the program expands.
