Connexys Gains Competitive Edge with Jaspersoft Reporting

Connexys, a Rotterdam-based SaaS recruitment software provider serving about 150 customers in the Netherlands, needed to upgrade its reporting capabilities but wanted to avoid the high cost of further Oracle licensing. Reporting had become a weak point—customers wanted more functionality and Connexys sought a cost-effective, open-source alternative that could be embedded into its existing application.

Connexys implemented Jaspersoft Reporting 4.7, moving nightly ETL from Oracle into a dedicated Postgres cloud via Talend and embedding 20 standard reports plus drag-and-drop ad hoc reporting into its UI. The result was robust, low-cost reporting that preserved the Connexys look-and-feel, faster deployments, strong customer approval and a clear competitive edge, with plans to add dashboards, scheduling and BI benchmarking.
