A Janus International Case Study
The customer, Everett Downtown Storage, faced the challenge of converting a 1960s beer distribution warehouse into a new self-storage facility. They required a high-quality, space-efficient design to maximize the net rentable area for their expansion. They engaged vendor Janus International to design and construct a mezzanine system to create two full floors of storage units.
Janus International delivered a professional installation of their mezzanine system, doors, and hallway partitions, completing the job on time. Despite some construction obstacles, the conversion was a success. The project resulted in a facility with 717 storage units and a 74% efficiency ratio, allowing the customer to capitalize on a solid existing shell and save significant time in the construction process.
