How digital signage enhanced the Base tour experience

Patrick Air Force Base, a U.S. Air Force station in Brevard County, Florida, runs frequent tours for groups ranging from schoolchildren to congressional and military leaders. Tours relied on 15 large printed posters on easels that had to be printed, assembled and disassembled before and after each visit (per Fire Marshal rules), an inefficient and time-consuming process. To modernize the visitor experience, the Base engaged JANUS Displays for digital signage solutions.

JANUS Displays installed two digital displays to replace the 15 posters and added touch screens throughout the facility, with hardware and software configured to meet the Base’s server, security and Fire Marshal requirements. The new JANUS Displays solution eliminated repetitive printing and setup, allowed the tour officer to play videos and update content instantly, made tours more informative and engaging, and freed staff time for other priorities.
