Transport for NSW faced the challenge of overhauling its cumbersome legacy system for delivering driver license knowledge tests. The old process required significant staff intervention, was confined to internal networks, and lacked the flexibility and analytics needed for modern driver education and safety goals. Janison was engaged to provide a new solution.

Janison implemented its cloud-based Insights platform, deploying secured Chromebooks to deliver and remotely monitor tests. This allowed for wider test availability, including in rural areas, and provided real-time data analytics. The solution was highly successful, with 141 centers transitioned by December 2019. Janison's platform enabled Transport for NSW to test more candidates efficiently, resulting in significant taxpayer savings and a seamless experience that supports the agency's road safety objectives.
