A JAMS Case Study
Disciple Data (DDI) is a software-as-a-service provider that hosts an ERP-style application for faith-based nonprofit organizations. The company relied on a mix of Windows Task Scheduler, Cron and manual processes, leaving it without a centralized view of enterprise jobs or a single repository of job history—shortcomings that made meeting client SLAs and auditing job activity difficult.
DDI implemented JAMS for its strong security model (separating who can run a job from the account the job runs as), SSH support and ease of use, bringing many critical processes under centralized control within weeks. The result: automated, auditable workflows that let help desk and clients run approved jobs (for example, AD password resets), reduced routine admin work, better tracking of job usage, and freed staff to focus on projects.
