Barcud rolls out new bilingual brand identity across digital, clothing, signs and vehicles with JamJar

Barcud, a housing association formed from the merger of Tai Ceredigion and Mid-Wales Housing, required a new bilingual brand identity. Their challenge was to create a fresh and exciting visual and verbal identity that was aspirational, confident, and would establish them as a bold player in the Welsh housing sector. The vendor, JamJar, was engaged to provide branding, graphic design, and print services to meet this need.

JamJar developed the new brand by creating multiple concepts and consulting with Barcud's staff and tenants throughout the process. The final solution included a strong logo, strapline, and color palette inspired by key elements like foundations, homes, and the local red kite. The result was a full rollout across all touchpoints and very positive feedback from all stakeholders, successfully creating a distinct and memorable identity for the newly merged organization.
