Colgate University, a liberal arts college in Hamilton, NY, needed a better way to manage more than 700 Macs across campus and to deploy software remotely without visiting each machine. The university turned to Jamf’s Casper Suite to simplify software delivery, inventory tracking, and license management while reducing the burden on its small IT staff.

Jamf implemented the Casper Suite with tools like QuickAdd, Composer, and Recon to enable remote management, faster machine setup, and easier troubleshooting. Colgate reported dramatic time savings: preparing 300 machines dropped from 15 days to one day, and software installs that once required in-person visits now happen remotely in about 15 minutes or less.
