UCHealth, a healthcare system serving Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska, faced the challenge of delivering modern medical care and keeping patients connected to loved ones, a need greatly amplified by the global pandemic. Using Jamf Pro and Jamf Healthcare Listener, UCHealth implemented a solution that provided digitally sterilized iPads to patients' bedsides, enabling secure virtual visits with providers and family. This integration with Jamf automatically wiped devices between patients for compliance. The result was a massive scaling of virtual care, from under 50 visits daily to over 1,500, while conserving PPE and providing safe, essential communication for isolated patients.
