Case Study: UCHealth achieves faster, secure virtual care with Jamf

A Jamf Case Study

Preview of the UCHealth Case Study

UCHealth is building on a telehealth foundation to deliver better, safer care to patients and keep them connected to loved ones through virtual visits.

UCHealth, a large Colorado-based health system with 25,000+ employees, 12 hospitals, and 150+ clinics, needed a scalable way to expand telehealth and support remote patient care. Working with Jamf, UCHealth used Apple devices and Jamf-managed workflows to improve virtual visits, bedside communication, and device management for both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Jamf helped UCHealth deploy and securely manage iPads and iPhones, automate device wiping between patients with Jamf Pro and Jamf Healthcare Listener, and roll out Virtual Visits for inpatient isolation care. The result was a major telehealth scale-up during COVID-19, growing from fewer than 50 virtual visits a day to over 1,500 per day, while also improving PHI-compliant communication, reducing IT touchpoints, and helping conserve PPE.
