A Jamf Case Study
Dijklander Ziekenhuis, a 350-bed hospital in Hoorn, the Netherlands, wanted to improve the patient experience and replace limited bedside entertainment with a more modern, personalized digital service. The hospital launched an iPad program, supported by Jamf Pro and Jamf Self Service, to give patients access to entertainment, education, and hospital information.
Jamf helped Dijklander Ziekenhuis centrally manage 474 iPads, quickly deploy apps, and securely reset devices between patients. The result was a more mobile and engaging experience, with about 70% of patients using the iPads and patient appreciation for entertainment and information rising from 6 to 8 on a 10-point scale. The program also reduced printing needs, with an expected savings of 100,000 euros.
