A Jamf Case Study
Westfriesgasthuis, a 350-bed hospital in Hoorn, the Netherlands, wanted to improve the patient experience with more modern, flexible bedside technology. The hospital launched an iPad program to replace limited TV-only entertainment and give patients easier access to information, activities, and communication, while managing the devices with Jamf Pro.
Using Jamf, Westfriesgasthuis rolled out and maintained 474 iPads, making it simple to deploy apps, update content, and securely wipe devices between patients. The result was a stronger patient experience: about 70% of patients used the iPads, satisfaction scores for entertainment and information rose from 6 to 8, and the hospital expects to save 100,000 euros in printing costs by moving materials onto the iPads.
