Simplifying device rollout with student engagement

Catholic College Wodonga, a co-educational school in Wodonga, Australia serving more than 1,170 students, needed a faster, more scalable way to roll out and manage over 1,800 Apple devices as enrollment grew. Its manual, one-by-one imaging process was time-consuming for ICT staff and didn’t help build students’ technical skills or ownership of their devices.

Working with Jamf, Catholic College Wodonga used Jamf Pro, Jamf Self Service, and Apple’s Device Enrollment Program to streamline deployment and let students set up and personalize their own MacBook Airs. Jamf helped reduce deployment time by 60% to 80%, cutting tasks that once took days down to hours, while also improving device management, troubleshooting, and student digital resilience.
