Sewanhaka Central High School District - Customer Case Study

Sewanhaka Central High School District, serving 8,600 students across five high schools on Long Island, needed a better way to support diverse learners, close equity gaps, and help teachers manage a wide range of student needs. The district chose Apple iPads and Jamf Pro to replace inconsistent access to devices, calculators, notes, and other learning tools, especially for students with special education needs and limited home technology.

Jamf helped the district manage roughly 9,000 iPads and 400+ Apple TVs, and later supported exam-mode restrictions for the GeoGebra graphing calculator app during paper-based state tests. The results included stronger student access to notes and homework, fewer parent support calls, reduced reliance on photocopying and grading time, and a low 1–2% device breakage rate. With Jamf, Sewanhaka also enabled more than 250 students to complete Regents exams with the app and improved digital equity across the district.
