Case Study: Virtru achieves FedRAMP compliance with Jamf Now

A Jamf Case Study

Preview of the Virtru Case Study

Security Company Reached FedRAMP Compliance with Jamf Now

Virtru, a Washington, D.C.-based security company, needed to meet strict FedRAMP requirements as it expanded into the government market and managed roughly 150 Apple devices, mostly Macs. The team also wanted a simple way to maintain strong device controls without slowing growth, and turned to Jamf Now to help address the compliance challenge.

Jamf Now was implemented companywide in about a month and gave Virtru the device management tools needed for FedRAMP compliance, including inventory tracking, disk encryption, password policies, timeout enforcement, remote lock and wipe, OS version control, and software visibility. With Jamf, Virtru said it was meeting “100% of our FedRAMP goal” while using an affordable MDM solution that scaled easily as the company added users and devices.
